Simulations and animations

ASC was tasked with creating a detailed animation depicting a nighttime intersection collision where a pickup truck ran a red light. Using FARO 3D laser scan data, scene evidence, and Event Data Recorder (EDR) downloads for both vehicles, our reconstruction team can reverse-engineer the sequence of events. The animation highlighted both vehicle's trajectory, speed, point of impact, and rest locations at the time of the collision, providing a clear depiction of how the incident unfolded. This visualization was instrumental in illustrating the driver’s actions and environmental factors like sightlines for each of the parties involved. Our animations and simulations can also be tailored to highlight whichever features or facts are most important for a particular case or project.
